Why We Built This Site
Minnesota publishes a great deal of court information, and the difficulty is knowing which office holds the piece you need. Swift County adds its own wrinkle: the state uses a unified district court, so there is no municipal court and no justice-of-the-peace court to sort through. The Swift County District Court at 301 14th Street North in Benson is the trial court for criminal, traffic, civil, family, juvenile, and probate matters, and Court Administrator Katie Bloch's staff answers procedural questions from the public.
The sheriff's office is a separate operation. Its page states that it is responsible for all arrest warrants issued by the court, and it also runs the jail, provides court security, and handles civil process. Interim Sheriff Mike Hoffman appears in the office's current staff listing. The public case search covers many district court records, but it is not a complete list of active warrants, and an unserved warrant index can stay confidential under state law. It is easy to check one office, find nothing, and assume everything is settled. This site collects the contact details, search routes, court names, and request steps for each office so a reader can begin in the right place.

What We Cannot Do
We are a private reference site with no connection to any court, sheriff's office, or government agency. That limits what we can offer, and the limits are worth stating plainly:
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists or whether it has been recalled
- We cannot accept a payment, post bond, or take money toward a fine
- We cannot schedule a court date, a surrender, or a hearing
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a warrant applies to your situation
- We cannot promise that a phone number, fee, or procedure on this site is current today
Only the court that issued a warrant or the sheriff's office that holds it can confirm its status. We can point you to the right office, and the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here carry search boxes run by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices and run their own services, and a paid signup may earn this site a referral fee that keeps the rest of the content free. We do not control what those tools charge or what their results contain, and their data is not an official warrant check.
